Our depth sessions are held at Wraysbury Lakes (TW19 5ND).
They consist of a 30-45mins diving prep (dry) followed by a 2 hour open water session in which a maximum of 4 people can attend per instructor.
In these sessions you’ll have the opportunity to sign off the requirements needed to complete the full AIDA 2 course (You must have already completed the AIDA 2 Pool course).
You must attend a minimum of 3 of these sessions and complete all of the requirements in order to become AIDA 2 certified.
- 12m depth in FIM and CTW
- Duck Dives
- Controlled turn at the bottom of the line
- Supervise a buddy from the surface
- Supervise a buddy a from the min depth of 10m
- Demonstrate LMC rescue procedures
- Rescue a diver from 5-10m and perform blackout rescue procedures
We also allow more experienced divers (those that have already attained their level 2 an above) to come along to the depth sessions to continue training they depth skills as per their AIDA certification level.
Each depth session will be tailored to the needs of the participants to ensure that all get equal opportunities.
These sessions are held seasonally (May-Aug) when the water temperature averages between 12 – 18 degrees C.
We advise you to bring your own 5mm wetsuit however we do hire out wetsuits and equipment should you need it (hire is subject to availability and can be added to your cart on check out – Please ensure you hire the 5mm, 2 piece freediving wetsuits for these sessions).
