These weekly sessions are split into blocks of practical sessions that run continuously.
You can either book them as blocks or as drop in sessions, as and when you are able to attend.
These classes are instructor led sessions that are fantastics for training your freediving skills and they cover the pool performance content that is taught in the AIDA Pool courses, in order to work towards and sign off the requirements set out in the AIDA 2, 3 & 4 courses (Pool only, not depth)
We will keep track of your progress as you complete individual requirements that build towards the next AIDA certification.
To become a certified AIDA 2 Pool Freediver, you’ll need to:
- Attend a minimum of 3 of our Monday classes.
- Study the AIDA 2 manual
- Pay for the certification and processing fee (£35 though our online store)
- Pass the online exam (75% pass mark).
- You must have also completed all of the practical AIDA 2 Pool requirements: 2min STA, 40m DYN and effectively perform a LMC and Blackout rescue (this can be done before or after you’ve taken the exam).
Please note that you must have completed the an AIDA 1 course (or equivalent) before attending the this training.
If you arrive at a session without having completed AIDA 1 course (or equivalent) then you will not be allowed to attend that session.
Each class will focus on a different aspect of the AIDA Pool courses with exercises designed to develop and improve your knowledge, relaxation, technique, strength, performance and safety in accordance with your current freediving certified level.
The session price does not include equipment hire. You are welcome to use your own or hire ours through our website. Please note that equipment is hired per session, so if you need to hire for multiple sessions then you can do so by increasing the quantity of the hire.
