Freediving London Ltd — Website Terms and Conditions

1. Website Use

You may use this website solely for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the website. Prohibited behaviour includes:

  • Transmitting obscene or abusive messages or disrupting the normal flow of conversation

Freediving London reserves the right to refuse access to users who breach this policy.

2. Freediving is a High-Risk Activity

Freediving involves inherent and serious risks, including loss of consciousness and drowning. A person can black out without warning in water as shallow as standing depth and may drown in seconds.

Participation in any Freediving London course, session or trip is entirely at your own risk. You assume all responsibility for any injury, death or loss of property arising from your participation. Freediving London and its staff cannot guarantee your safety, regardless of qualifications held or procedures followed.

3. Medical Screening and Eligibility

Before participating in any course, training session or trip, you must:

  • Complete the medical screening form in full and truthfully
  • Declare any medical conditions, medications or concerns that may affect your ability to freedive safely
  • Confirm you are medically fit to participate
  • Be honest about your experience level and swimming ability

Failure to disclose relevant medical information, misrepresenting your fitness or experience, or lying on the medical form will invalidate your participation and any insurance cover. Freediving London reserves the right to refuse entry or withdraw you from any activity.

4. Course and Trip Bookings

All course and trip bookings are subject to our separate Trip Refund Policy, available on this website. By booking, you agree to be bound by those terms, including the non-refundable deposit and final payment deadlines.

Additional terms of participation:

  • Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times
  • Instructors have absolute authority to stop, modify or cancel any activity for safety reasons, and this decision is final
  • Participants must follow all safety briefings and instructions
  • No refund or compensation will be given if an instructor exercises safety authority
  • Participants are responsible for their own equipment unless hire is explicitly arranged

5. Retail and Hire

Products sold through this website are subject to the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Products are described in good faith but we do not warrant that descriptions, information or photographs are accurate or error-free.

For product returns and disputes, contact us within 30 days of purchase with details and photographs.

Equipment hire is subject to a separate hire agreement. Damage beyond fair wear and tear will be charged at replacement cost. Loss of hired equipment must be reported immediately.

6. Liability and Indemnity

  • Freediving London will not be liable for any death, personal injury, loss or damage arising from your participation in any course, training, trip or use of the website, even if caused by negligence or breach of contract.
